Elizabeth Kleinveld

Elizabeth Kleinveld is a self-taught artist and photographer from New Orleans, who lives and works in Amsterdam. Her most recent body of work, together with New Orleans artist and photographer, E Paul Julien, is based on masterpieces/icon images spanning almost 600 years of art history. Ode to Rembrandt’​s Jewish Bride and Ode to the Pinching d’Estrees Sisters were chosen by the jury for the Zomerexpo 2012 at the Gemeentemu​seum Den Haag from june 15 – august 19. Read about the opening or watch video below (press clipping).
